The auction in the 1800 MHz band has closed

Two bidders won licences in the 1800 MHz band. The total auction proceeds amount to 652 190 000 SEK.

After one auction day and four clock rounds the auction in the 1800 MHz band has closed. Two bidders won licences. The total auction proceeds amount to 652 190 000 SEK, which goes to the treasury.

- There are good conditions for continued technological development and use of 5G. This will contribute to the continued digitalization of Sweden. At the same time, the national security of Sweden has been taken into account. We can conclude that the spectrum auction as an allocation mechanism has worked very well, says Dan Sjöblom, PTS’ Director-General.

Net4Mobility HB, Telia Sverige AB och Hi3G Access AB were approved bidders and participated in the auction. Net4Mobility HB and Telia Sverige AB won licences in the auction as follows:
