We use the web analytics tool Siteimprove on pts.se. Siteimprove collects anonymized data about visitors on the web site. This gives us valuable insights on how the web site can be further developed to meet user needs.
The cookie from Siteimprove requires consent from the visitor. Choozing not to consent to the cookie does not affect the use of the web site but gives us a reduced understanding of the user needs.
The Siteimprove-cookie contains a randomly generated ID used to recognize the browser when a visitor visits a web page. The cookie contains no personal information and is only used for web analytics purposes.

Other cookies
In addition to cookies, a similar technique called localStorage is used on the PTS website. It is used, for example, to remember the visitor's settings in the "Customize" feature. None of this transfers any information to third parties or is used to map you.
The "Customize" feature works without cookies, but not if you block localStorage.
